🏌️‍♂️Improve Your Putting Stroke with the Metronome

*FREE TEMPLATE: COPY & SEND

Dear Students,

I hope this email finds you well. In today's newsletter, I want to talk to you about how you can use a metronome to improve your putting stroke.

A metronome is a device that keeps a steady beat, and it can be a great tool to help you practice and perfect the tempo of your putting stroke. On the metronome, you can set the beats per minute to 75, which is the average or cadence for a good putting stroke. This means that every time there's a beat at 75 beats per minute, your putter should change direction. This will help you make a smooth and consistent stroke, whether you're making a short putt or a long putt.

Here's how you can use a metronome to practice your putting:

  1. Get a metronome app on your phone, there are many free apps available.

  2. Place the metronome on the side of a table or on the putting green and start practicing your stroke, making sure to change direction with each beat.

  3. As you practice, pay attention to the tempo of your stroke. Make sure that it is consistent, regardless of whether you're making a short putt or a long putt.

  4. Keep practicing with the metronome in the background until the tempo of 75 beats per minute becomes ingrained in your mind.

Remember that the key to a smooth and consistent putting stroke is to keep the tempo consistent, regardless of the length of your putt. By using a metronome to practice your stroke, you can help to smooth out your stroke and stop having the stubby little stroke or the long longer deceleration.

If you want to take your putting to the next level, I invite you to book a putting lesson with me. By working together, we can help you improve your putting stroke and achieve your golfing goals.

Best regards,
